Calcium Carbonate is a kind of functional filler material, widely used with certain ability of intensity supplement. It is divided into two types, heavy calcium carbonate and light calcium carbonate (also called precipitated calcium carbonate). The heavy calcium carbonate is made of high quality calcium carbonate ores after mechanic crushing and rubbing. The light calcium carbonate is made from chemical reaction, with many chemical and physical features controllable by the adjustment of chemical reaction parameters comparing to the heavy calcium carbonate. All types of the nano-structured calcium carbonate manufacture by Fujian Sanmu are made from changing the surface features by different organic materials through controlling the reaction conditions of carbonation.
